Tax Credit
Arizona tax law (ARS §43-1089.01) allows taxpayers a tax credit for donations that benefit students in public schools. That’s not just a deduction, it’s a tax credit, which means it reduces what you owe in state taxes, dollar for dollar.
Just donate STEDY in support of one of our many activities. It must be postmarked by April 15th. We will send you a receipt for your records. Then when you fill out your Arizona State taxes you can subtract your donation from what you owe in taxes. If your donation is made after January 1st, but before you filed before the federal tax deadline, you can use the deduction for the current year. Use Form 322 to deduct your contribution.
Tax credit limits
-
Up to $400 for married couples filing jointly or
-
Up to $200 for a single individual, head of household, or married couple filing separately
The donation amount you make does not have to be the maximum allowed. You can make a difference with even $50, $75 or $100.
Tax credit donations are not refundable by STEDY.
