Cosmetology Hairstyling
Program Description
The interactive Hairstylist program prepares students for a Hairstyling license, including the latest techniques in hairstyling, haircutting, and coloring. The two-year program includes industry expectations, infection control, anatomy, hygiene, and salon management. Students will perform services in the STEDY Hair Salon with classmates and the general public under the supervision of licensed instructors. The 1000-hour program includes Saturday Salon hours and is an extensive time commitment requiring prioritization of the program over other high school opportunities, events, and work.
