Digital Animation
Program Description
The Digital Animation instructional program prepares students to use computer applications and related visual and sound imaging techniques to create animations and other visual effects for television, movies, video games, and other media. Students who successfully complete the Digital Animation program’s coherent sequence of instruction will develop an in-depth understanding of 2D and 3D image capture, creation, and manipulation; audio and video recording and editing techniques; media management, distribution, and delivery; and specialized equipment operation and maintenance.
Medical Assisting
Program Description
The Medical Assisting Services program includes instruction in basic anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, medical law and ethics, patient psychology and communications, medical office procedures, and clinical diagnostic, examination, testing, and treatment procedures. The Medical Assisting Services program also prepares students to provide medical office administrative services and perform clinical duties including patient intake and care, routine diagnostic and recording procedures, pre-examination and examination assistance, and the administration of medications and first aid.
Business Management
Program DescriptionThe Business Management instructional program prepares students to plan, organize, direct, and control the functions and processes of a firm or organization. Students who successfully complete this program will develop an in-depth understanding of the business and financial management practices needed for large and small enterprises. The Business Management program includes instruction in management theory, project management, human resources management and behavior, business management and other quantitative methods, purchasing and logistics, organization and production, marketing, and business decision-making. |
Cosmetology Hairstyling
Program Description
The interactive Hairstylist program prepares students for a Hairstyling license which includes the latest techniques in hairstyling, haircutting, and coloring. The 2-year program includes industry expectations, infection control, anatomy, hygiene, and salon management. Students will perform services in the STEDY Hair Salon with classmates and the general public under the supervision of licensed instructors. The 1000-hour program includes Saturday Salon hours and is an extensive time commitment requiring prioritization of the program over other high school opportunities, events, and work.
Drafting CAD Technology
Program Description
This program provides courses in computer-assisted drafting (CAD) and technical subject areas as well as the required general education courses to prepare students to transfer to a university. This program will provide knowledge in computer-assisted drafting technology.
Electrical Technology
Program Description
Provides graduates with the essential skills required of an entry-level employee in the electrical wiring industry. The program curriculum is aligned with the National Center for Construction Education Research standardized national skills standards for the construction trades.
Homeland Security
Program Description
The two-year Homeland Security education program is built to equip students with a strong comprehension of the dynamic landscape of national and international security threats. Throughout the program, students will study an array of critical subjects such as emergency management, disaster response, intelligence analysis, border security, critical infrastructure protection, and counterterrorism strategies. This intensive program aims to provide students with a robust foundation and the practical skills needed to navigate the complex issues involved in safeguarding our nations and global security interests.
HVAC
Program Description
Provides the student with the essential skills required of an entry-level employee in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry. Training in various aspects of air conditioning and refrigeration includes troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and servicing of A/C units, related electrical controlling devices, motors, and safety factors concerning the use of various refrigerants. The program curriculum is aligned with the National Center for Construction Education Research standardized national skills standards for the construction trades.
Logistics and Supply
Chain Management
Program Description
This two-year program helps students build the necessary skills to succeed in the diverse field of Logistics and Supply Chain Management. The program covers the coordination, planning, execution, and control of processes involved in the seamless flow of goods, services, information, and finances from the point of origin to the end consumer. The synergy between Logistics and Supply Chain Management aims to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall business performance in the complex landscape of global supply networks.
Manufacturing Technology
Program Description
This program is designed to introduce students to precision manufacturing, machining principles, technical skills, basic manufacturing systems, production planning, information systems, quality control, documentation, technical problem solving, management, predictive/preventive maintenance, and automated manufacturing. The program includes instruction in precision for metalworking, operating large equipment, such as lathes, mills, and grinders, to fabricate metal parts, learning to work from written blueprints or electronic specifications, code with G-code or CAD CAM systems.
Network Security
Program Description
The Network Security instructional program prepares students to assess the security needs of computer and network systems, recommend safeguard solutions, and manage the implementation and maintenance of security devices, systems, and procedures. Students who successfully complete the Network Security program’s coherent sequence of instruction will develop skills to analyze, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate existing network systems, such as local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system. Perform network maintenance to ensure networks operate correctly with minimal interruption.
Organizational Leadership
Program Description
For students whose personal interests and needs are to enhance their leadership skills in a workplace environment. The certificate is to assist students to appreciate and explore diversity within the workplace. Individuals who successfully complete this certificate will have a deeper understanding of leadership skills to be utilized in any kind of organizational setting. It also, provides an opportunity to learn how to engage with people to make leadership decisions in a variety of situations in a changing business world. This program may assist graduates in acquiring entry-level positions or for employees currently working in or aspiring to work in supervisory levels or entry managerial training positions
