Enrollment Process
Eligibility Requirements
You are eligible to enroll in a STEDY program if you meet all of the following criteria:
- You will be a high school Sophomore or Junior at the start of your program.
- You attend a public, charter, private, or home school.
- You have a 2.0+ GPA and are on track to graduate.
- You have a history of good attendance.
- You reside in Yuma County (Dateland, Gadsden, San Luis, Somerton, Tacna, Wellton, Yuma, etc.).
- You can commit to a 2-year program.
- YCAT passes are provided where routes are available. Otherwise, transportation is the student’s responsibility.
Enrollment Process
Priority Registration Period: November 1, 2024 – March 1, 2025
Applications available online starting November 1st, 2024.
Step 1: Choose Your Program
Talk with your high school counselor or contact our Central Campus Counselor with any questions.
Step 2: Apply Online
- Applications for the 2025–2026 school year open November 1, 2024.
- Apply by the priority deadline: March 1, 2025.
- After applying, you’ll be notified by email regarding acceptance (based on availability and eligibility).
- If accepted, you’ll receive an Enrollment Packet to complete.

Cost: $25.00 non-refundable enrollment fee.
Fee waivers are available for students facing financial hardship. Contact STEDY administration to request a waiver.

Step 4: Get Your Schedule
Accepted students will receive a STEDY schedule to share with their home campus.
Your high school may require additional forms (e.g., for early release, scheduling, or credit adjustments).
Step 5: Attend Orientation
All students must attend Orientation in July at the STEDY Central Campus before classes begin.
Students enrolled in Arizona Western College (AWC) programs must also attend:
- A Course Registration Event
- AWC Orientation
- AWC Application Events will be offered
